OMG..... it's Christmas!!

OMG!

Its December 16th, apparently 9 days to Christmas Why didn't any one warn me, it's the same "out of the blue" surprise every year?

Our first email shot using the cleaned up data base went out a week ago with big spikes on the new web site and plenty for us to work on when we notice that A100 and Events are main areas of client interest and I have not written up the pages yet. Dohhh!

It's all coming and if it's slow is is because we want it right and sorted before we publish. My vision for the A100 syndicate is now on the page, a forum and centre for excellence with the rifle. No committee, no politics, no wannabee braggarts, no theory merchants, no armchair heroes. The focus is real practical rifle heads from all walks of life who aspire, sometimes obsessively, to shoot up to their rifle and be the best they can be. Great kit helps, but really its about the Nut behind the Butt, how much they know, how much they practice and how they make the shot.

We will be sorting out the costs, the benefits, the facilities, the events and the diary over Christmas so please look out for the rebirth of the A100 plan in the New Year. Do you want to be part of it and can you make the shot?

Range days have come in as thick and fast as the weather at WMS Steel Challenge. Clients from Cornwall, Kent, Surrey, Aberdeenshire, Sindh (Pakistan) Lincolnshire and most places in between have enjoyed great days in early December. Chris Blackburn and the UK Gun Works crew were in last week and performed really well with a variety of custom and commercial rifles at 200 to 1000 metres. The 1000 mt Fox got the good news which always raises a cheer, as did various long rabbits, figure 11's and more. Remember when reading this that the targets cant run off, wounded or otherwise, you dont have to find them afterwards and we dont promote target practise on live animals. Get close enough to kill cleanly, sort it out if it all goes wrong, find it and recover it.

Tris Butler and the crew, Pir Danish Ali, Gary and Kev all feature in pictures. Danish will remember his clean first round "kill" on the Marco Polo sheep a long time. Kev will rememeber his 3rd round centre hit on the Fig 11 at 1650 yards with a 50 cal for ever and he wont let Gary forget either! The pictures are in the gallery and some will join this page. There are also images, chat and video's on my Face Book page (click the face book link on the home page and log yourself in) which may amuse, shock or inform!

Got to go now as its snowing hard (which does not stop us) and there stuff to do before we go down to Berkshire tomorrow to deliver some steel targets and have lunch at the Pot Kiln with Mike Robinson, celebrity chef and all round good bloke.

Back into the fray Monday. If you enjoy reading this and looking at the gallery dont just sit there, contact us and book yourself in! Life is now and the diary is filling. Have a great Christmas, happy New Year and see you soon. Feel free to call for a chat, random questions or more info. Keep it real and take care
