Just how good a rifle shot do you want to be? 

If you really want to prepare for the hunt, or the shot of a lifetime you won't do it from a shooting bench, or prone at X hundred meters on a formal range.

Little groups don't bring home the venison, a single good shot in the 3-9 inch kill zone does: 5-4 3-2 bang! Can YOU make the shot? Knowledge, Preparation and Practice are the keys to success.

We are a private sporting facility NOT a public range.

We offer a real education in practical rifle shooting at infinitely variable ranges out to as far as you can shoot. 

A variety of life size targets from crows to large mammals in bullet resistant steel. Instant shot recording by the the spotter through sounds, strike and some moving parts.  Shooting from all practical positions, up and down hill to 40 degrees of angle.

Our main facility  is 5000 acres with 20 miles of internal roads and tracks.  You can drive around with a car full of kit or walk for miles in challenging upland countryside.  Most clients do a mixture of both.  You learn to find the targets, judge the range, dope the wind, find a suitable position and .... make the shot!  Clients normally fire between 50 and 200 rounds a day, dependent on calibre and purpose.

On regular range days your guide will advise, spot for you, assist you and improve your shooting ability as you go along to become a better, safer shot. On our bespoke days, your instructors will tailor the day to your precise needs, working with you to ensure maximum benefit, helping you decide what to buy or set up your new rifle/s and scope/s.

Shooting is generally done in pairs, shoot / spot - spot / shoot as the best way to learn from this great experience.  if there are 8 of you, 4 will be shooting at any one time.  We quote individually for larger groups, corporate or social events. We

Weekdays:          £120 pp inc vat

Weekend:            £150 pp inc vat

Bank Holidays:   £150 pp inc vat

Minimum 3 people, six+ paying clients and 1 extra person can come for free!

Bespoke Services for clients who want the best:

One to One tuition     £500pp inc vat

Two to One tuition     £350pp inc vat, total £700pd

Private group range days are bespoke for the client.  We tailor the training and experience to your requirements.

Group size is a minimum of 3 people for which we provide you with instruction and guidance appropriate to the day.

Use your own guns and ammunition or ours.

Ammunition from WMS to be paid for on the day.
