WMS is offering you monthly training inputs! £150 inc vat per person per day
The training days are limited to 10 people using your own rifle and ammunition.
50-300 days will focus on fast, practical multi positional shooting 50-300 metres. This is the most useful skills base with a rifle.
300 to 600 days will focus on first rounds hits and how to make them at 300-600 metres. When you can make 90% first round hits 300-600, we will move on!
You will get to meet each other, exchange views and experience, learn and improve together, all under expert tuition.
If you shoot you will surely enjoy either or both of these rifle training days at one of the UK's leading shooting ranges!

If you are a stalker, hunt abroad, eat what you shoot and need to make every shot count you will be a likely candidate for the 50-300 days. Varmint shooters, professional deer cullers, target shooters and people with tactical interests amongst our clientele are most likely candidates for 300-600 days.
Groups, clubs or corporate bodies are welcome to take these days in their entirety. We can provide estate rifles on request and ammunition with these being charged at retail rates.

Many people have visited and shot with us at WMS over the past 3 years. We learn a little every day, sometimes a lot and the process of improvement is constant and ongoing. Many clients aspire to make long range hits, without mastering making first round short range hits. The number of people making first round hits drops off about 30% per 100 metres over 200 metres. That’s right, we don’t see many first round hits past 400 metres and even less perfectly placed rounds.
On analysis, the two main reasons for missing are:
- Shooting when you still ought to be thinking and preparing
- Thinking, messing about and admiring the “shot” when you ought to be reloading and firing again….and again!
We spend more time preparing and equipping for the theoretical than we spend practicing for what really brings home the venison and gets the job done, which is:
Placing a fast, well placed shot into the kill zone within about 5 seconds of deciding to shoot and focusing on ranges 50 to 300 metres as relevant to hunting.
