Be a "Sniper for The Day" No experience necessary
How do snipers do it? We can offer you the tremendous experience of immersion in the world of rifle shooting. You can “Be a sniper for a day” and engage a variety of reactive steel targets with .22 and .7.62 rifles. Some of our targets are identical to those used in military and police sniper training around the world!
Books like Sniper One by Dan Mills and newspaper articles like the ones regarding Craig Harrison and the longest recorded sniper shot of 2,475 metres are creating a lot of interest in rifle shooting. |

You will need to bring lunch, we provide tea and coffee at breaks. Appropriate clothing is as for hiking in the hills, with layers, decent boots, water proof jacket and over trousers and a change of clothes for the journey home if it rains. Rocking up in flip flops, heels, white jeans, designer shirts or office gear is not good. Check the forecast for Llanidloes the day before and come prepared, as every soldier knows: “There’s no such thing as bad weather, merely inappropriate clothing!”
This is just a quick message to say thanks for putting on a superb day for me on the 19th. The world of firearms can be daunting for a beginner such as myself, but Jon and yourself made me feel very welcome and smoothed my transition to centrefire rifles excellently. I feel that I now have a good base of knowledge and technique to take with me into the shooting world, and I intend to come back to learn to shoot larger calibres at longer distances.
Thanks again for a fantastic day.
Tom Chilcott
